Keiko Mori was featured in an article in The Mainichi Shimbun news paper (dated December 21st). It describes how Keiko Mori started filming gorillas and the changes she noticed in the Rwandan forest. It also features comments from Juichi Yamagiwa, director of the Research Institute for Humanity and Nature, a leading gorilla researcher.
“However, a few years ago, while looking back at the photos and footage I had taken, I suddenly realized that the gorillas had stopped singing. The last time I filmed a gorilla humming was around 2013. No matter how many times I looked back at the footage since then, there was no sign of it humming.”
