Keiko teaches children living around Volcanoes National Park about gorillas. On February 7, I went to a primary school in Kabwende area.
The children were very energetic. At the end of the lecture, I asked, “Who wants to protect mountain gorillas so they can continue to sing their songs?” and most of the children raised their hands, which was very moving.
This time, I used an external speaker so that the children could clearly hear the sounds heard in the forest and the voices and sounds made by the gorillas. However, the volume was still not enough, so I’m thinking that next time I should prepare a bigger speaker.
